How to Merge cells in Google Sheets?



 Merging cells is very important in Google Sheets as it provides aesthetic formatting, presentation and

data alignment in your Google Sheets document. Following are the steps to merge cells in your

document:

  1. Open your Google Sheets document.
  2. Select all the cells you want to merge. To do this, click and drag your mouse to highlight the
  3. cells, or hold down the Shift key and click on the individual cells.
  4.  Go to the Format menu at the top.
  5.  Choose Merge Cells from the Format Menu.
  6.  Based on your preferences, select the merge option.
